Disclosures

Important information about our services, results, and how this site works.

Credit Up is a credit education platform. We teach you how credit works, help you understand your credit file, and give you the tools and guidance to take action. Some of the services connected to your plan — credit report access, everyday payment reporting, and dispute filing — are performed by our partner organizations rather than by Credit Up directly. The disclosures below apply to your use of this site and our services.

No guarantee of results

Credit scores and credit reports vary by bureau, scoring model, and point in time. Individual results depend on your unique credit history, the accuracy of the underlying data, and actions taken by you, our partners, and your creditors. We do not guarantee any specific score improvement, score level, or timeline.

Any examples, projections, or simulator outputs on this site are estimates for educational purposes. They are not predictions of your actual credit score.

Services provided with partners

Credit Up's role is education, guidance, and coordination. Credit report data access, payment reporting to the bureaus, dispute preparation and filing, and related services are carried out by our partner organizations on your behalf under your direction. Credit Up does not pull your credit report, report payments, or file disputes itself.

Partner services are subject to the partner's own processes, timelines, and terms. We select partners carefully and monitor the work they do for you, but investigation outcomes rest with the credit bureaus and your creditors.

You can repair your credit yourself

Under the Credit Repair Organizations Act, you have the right to dispute inaccurate or incomplete information in your credit reports on your own, directly with the credit bureaus, at no charge. You also have the right to receive copies of your credit reports from annualcreditreport.com and to review them yourself. You do not need to pay a third party to exercise these rights.

Credit repair services — including the partner services connected to your plan — cannot legally promise to remove accurate negative information, create a new credit identity, or guarantee results. Accurate negative information generally remains on your credit reports for the period allowed by law (typically seven years, up to ten for some bankruptcies).

Educational, not advice

Content on this site, including the credit score simulator and educational articles, is general educational information. It is not financial, legal, tax, or professional advice, and it is not tailored to your personal circumstances. Consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

Third-party links

Our site may link to third-party websites and services, including our service partners. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of third-party sites. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
